Love to Learn Educational Services is built on dedication, experience, and care.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Minor in Sociology.
After several years in the marketing and advertising sector, I followed my passion by completing my Master’s Degree in General and Special Education from New York University.
I began my teaching career in the New York City Public Schools where I taught in an Inclusive Classroom and a General Education environment for third and fourth grades. Later, I transitioned into the role as a Special Education Teaching Support Services (SETSS) provider, delivering “push-in” and “pull-out'' services to students with special needs.
In my role as Special Education liaison, I wrote Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), addressed and adapted IEP-related mandate and compliance issues, developed SMART goals, advocated formally and as-needed for families throughout the year, and differentiated learning approaches to teaching.
I have always modeled my teaching through the Orton-Gillingham methodology of structured literacy and the Science of Reading. I am a Florida certified General Education K-6 and Special Education K-12 teacher. I earned my Florida Gifted Endorsement in 2019 and completed my Orton-Gillingham certification from the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE).
With over 15 years of experience in education, I have administered various assessments and evaluations utilizing multiple platforms, including but not limited to PAST, QPAS, DIBELS, Acadience and those provided by the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education.
At Love to Learn Educational Services, committment is provided at the highest standard of care to our students and families.
