Love to Learn Educational Services is built on dedication, experience, and care, with a deep commitment to supporting students and families through thoughtful, individualized instruction.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and later followed my passion for education by completing a Master’s degree in General and Special Education from New York University.
I began my teaching career in the New York City Public Schools, where I taught in both inclusive and general education classrooms at the elementary level. I later transitioned into the role of Special Education Teaching Support Services (SETSS) provider, delivering both push-in and pull-out services to students with diverse learning needs. Following that role, I taught at the middle school level in an independent school setting, supporting students across a range of learning profiles.
As a Special Education liaison, I collaborated closely with teachers, administrators, and families. My work included writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), addressing compliance and mandate requirements, developing SMART goals, and advocating for students throughout the school year. I have extensive experience differentiating instruction to meet a wide range of diverse learning styles and needs.
My instructional approach is grounded in Orton-Gillingham methodology and the Science of Reading, with a strong emphasis on structured literacy. I am a Florida-certified General Education (K–6) and Special Education (K–12) teacher, hold a Florida Gifted Endorsement, and am Orton-Gillingham certified through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE).
With over 20 years of experience in education, I provide thoughtful, diagnostic instruction and administer Orton-Gillingham–aligned assessments and screenings through IMSE to guide individualized instruction.
At Love to Learn Educational Services, students and families are supported with professionalism, intention, and care. Instruction is structured, individualized, and rooted in best practices, with the goal of building strong foundational skills, confidence, and long-term academic success.
